ABOUT JOEL TRACY
Joel Tracy founded Informed Business Decisions, Inc. (IBDI) to leverage his passion for helping companies that need interim freelance marketing research consultants to better understand their customers, the competition and the marketplace, in order to make informed decisive decisions to grow revenue and reduce costs. Over the past 20 years, he has developed an extensive array of experiences in Marketing Research, Marketing, Forecasting, and Training for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer packaged goods, and service industries.
His most recent success at Roche and Genentech was to quickly step in as an interim New Products team member to develop and implement the marketing research plan for a global launch of a high priority product, during personnel changes related to their merger. Prior to this, Joel Tracy managed projects and directed the development and delivery of high-performance marketing research training courses for milestone programs at Roche . He also played a key role in designing global strategic business plans for a Japanese venture capitalist and high-profile partner companies, including Toyota Corporation, Toyota Industries Corporation, and Japan Agriculture.

Joel Tracy received his MS degree in Business through the renowned University of Wisconsin Madison's Marketing Research Program, and is involved in numerous professional organizations, including American Marketing Association, Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group, and Medical Development Group.
